Associate Professor

About Me

Hao Pan is a Tenure-track Associate Professor at School of Computer Science at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. I am also the associate director of the MINDS Lab (Mobile Intelligent Network anD System Laboratory) at SJTU. Before that, I was Senior Researcher at Microsoft Research Asia (Shanghai) from 2022 to 2025. My research interests center on mobile and networked systems, spanning wireless communication (mmWave&LEO&THz) and sensing, RF understanding, wearable healthcare, cyber security, and 3D computer vision. I am also actively exploring hot topics such as AI4SCI (EM computing), embodied intelligence, and agentic AI.

I am recruiting students who are passionate about research and possess solid hands-on skills in software and/or hardware to join our team as research assistants, visiting students, or master/PhD students.
